Dr. Raskin is a graduate of the University of Detroit, School of Dentistry and the College of the Pacific.  He is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA) and Sacramento District Dental Society (SDDS).  He enjoys being a board member of the SDDS editorial board for their monthly magazine, The Nugget.  He spends his free time painting, playing piano, woodworking and spending time with his two granddaughters, Chloe and Paige and grandson, Camden.
